Job summary

Regency Hermiston is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to maintain residents' rooms and common areas, following cleaning schedules in partnership with nursing services. You will ensure sanitary conditions and a home-like environment by handling supplies, disinfecting, and keeping spaces orderly.

You will work with residents, families, and staff, communicating clearly in English and showing genuine care for the senior population. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services.
• Adhere to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment.
• Transport supplies using wheeled carts and keep storage areas tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces; clean various areas to meet health standards.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, volunteers and staff.
