Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Part-time Housekeeper in Des Plaines, IL. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff on a 1pm to 9:30pm schedule.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning of apartments and common areas, sanitizing bathrooms, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Candidates should be detail-oriented, physically able, and comfortable working around seniors.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, cleaning instructions, and procedures.
• Demonstrated interest in working with a senior population.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine cleaning duties daily, weekly, and monthly in resident apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, rooms, and hallways; rotate runners as needed.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish bathrooms, sinks, fixtures, and dispensers.
• Dust, wash, and sanitize furniture, lamps, glass surfaces, and windowsills.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and securely when not in use.
• Report maintenance issues and supply needs to the supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and infection control practices at all times.
