Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will perform housekeeping and laundry tasks across apartments and shared spaces, supporting daily operational needs with attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, cleaning instructions, and procedures.
• Demonstrated interest in working with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning daily, weekly, and monthly in resident apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, rugs, carpets, stairways, and hallways.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish bathrooms, sinks, showers, fixtures, and dispensers.
• Dust, wash, and sanitize furniture, lamps, glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and securely when not in use.
• Follow safety procedures and infection control practices at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or supply needs to the supervisor.
