Extended Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our healthcare facility in Des Plaines, IL. This role supports a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff, with full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring beds are made, linens changed, and spaces kept orderly. The position requires attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare setting).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Follow instructions and multitask effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and a team player.
• Passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residents' rooms to maintain a safe living environment.
• Ensure bathrooms are clean and tidy.
• Sweep and mop residents' rooms and bathrooms.
• Make beds and change linens as assigned.
• Clean common areas, including front lobby, nurses' stations, public bathrooms, offices, and hallways.
• Assist with room changes and facility upkeep as needed.
