Job summary

The Grand at Spokane in Spokane, WA is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain resident living areas to high standards in our large senior living community. You will work with a caring team to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning, privacy respect, and consistent, courteous interactions. This full-time role offers weekday hours, competitive pay, and benefits, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in house, office, or hotel cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning product instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• A record of punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a stocked cleaning cart with needed items.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
• Cleans assigned resident apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Respects resident’s privacy and preferences about room arrangement, personal items. Knocks before entering resident areas. Seeks resident cleaning methods within reason.
• Disposes of trash and waste, other materials in a safe manner using identified precautions for any contaminated materials.
