Job summary

The Grand at Spokane is seeking a reliable Lead Housekeeper for our large senior living community. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensure clean residential living areas and common spaces, and support memory care residents with a caring, person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Housekeeper or experience in a related field highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written in English.
• Must enjoy working with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Supervisor to maintain schedule
• Mentors housekeeping staff
• Monitors supply inventory
• Maintains a stocked cleaning cart, with a full knowledge of all products being utilized
• Cleans assigned resident apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures
• Complies with infection prevention and safety standards
• Functions independently with integrity
• Communicates successfully with residents, vendors, and coworkers
• Complies with all company policies and procedures related to resident rights; abuse prevention and reporting; and resident confidentiality (HIPAA).
