Job summary

The Ivy Thornton is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean resident apartments and common areas, while handling laundry for residents and the community. You will help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for seniors on our Thornton campus.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to interact with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
