Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and comfort across our senior living communities. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitize restrooms, and ensure safe, orderly environments for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a compassionate approach to seniors, with opportunities for growth and training. Prior housekeeping experience and a respect for residents are valued in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
• Interacts with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Team Member must regularly stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas (apartment homes, common areas, lounges, offices).
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, vacuums floors and runners; rotates runners in corridors.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures; stocks dispensers as needed.
• Maintains equipment and materials in clean, orderly condition.
• Collects trash and redistributes community laundry.
• Maintains commercial laundry in clean, sanitary condition.
• Reports repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.
