Provincial Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents across our communities in the United States. You will perform cleaning duties in apartments and common areas, ensuring high standards of sanitation and comfort for seniors and staff alike.

Ideal candidates have a genuine interest in senior care, with basic reading of safety rules and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Interest in working with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices according to schedule.
• Sweeps, dusts, dust mops, and wet mops all floors and stairways; vacuums floors, rugs and carpets; rotates runners.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory fixtures; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Scrubs bath and shower tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintains equipment and materials in a clean and orderly condition.
• Collects trash and refuse and relocates to designated pick-up areas.
• Responsible for maintaining community laundry and commercial laundry areas.
• Keeps cleaning chemicals stored and locked when not in use; reports hazards.
• Reports needed repairs and supplies to Lead Housekeeper; performs other duties as assigned.
