Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. You will perform all housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include following cleaning checklists, handling cleaning solutions safely, and restocking supplies across the community. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work weekends/evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning worksheet/checklist for each room and common area.
• Prepare cleaning solutions per specifications.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas (floors, walls, bathrooms).
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move furniture as needed.
• Vacuum and clean carpets; steam/shampoo as required.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.
• Adjust heating/cooling and change filters as needed.
• Take out trash and sanitize common areas.
• Restock bathrooms and resident rooms with supplies.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain cleanliness.
• Notify supervisor of major repairs or maintenance needs.
