Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to perform housekeeping duties in a senior living community. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience; weekend/evening availability and good communication skills are important. This role is on-site at our Beaufort, SC location.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• One (1) year job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed cleaning worksheet/checklist for each room and common area.
• Set up and mix water and detergents in proper containers to prepare cleaning solutions.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Clean community common areas and resident rooms by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpet as needed.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move furniture as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners and squeegees.
• Replace light bulbs and ensure bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper and soap.
• Notify supervisor about major repairs or additions to building systems.
