Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper in Dover, New Hampshire. You will maintain the Community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner. Duties include general housekeeping for common areas and apartments, laundry, and ensuring adequate linen supplies.

Responsibilities also include deep cleaning, sanitation compliance, and assisting with meal service when needed. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Provide general housekeeping for the Community and resident apartments (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, and patios).
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattress, and empty waste baskets.
• Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed and pay attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
• Launder all linens by washing and drying in the provided facilities; follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents/guests, take orders, serve meals, clear tables, and assist with storage of perishable items; reset for next meal.
