Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeper in the Kittery area to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for residents. You will clean resident apartments, common areas, dining spaces, and entryways, while following sanitation procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Housekeeping Responsibilities: provide general housekeeping for both the Community and resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments.
• Server Responsibilities: greet residents, take orders, serve meals, and assist with storage and delivery as needed.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
