Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Housekeeper for an Assisted Living community in Columbia, MO. This full-time, day-shift role offers hourly pay between $16 and $17 and benefits including health coverage and 401(k).

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and follow assigned cleaning schedules.
• Perform cleaning assignments in resident rooms and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Monitor housekeeping inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Assist with plant and flower care as assigned.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and ensure proper labeling per OSHA standards.
• Maintain work carts and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth daily operations.
