Americare Senior Living in Troy, Missouri is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role supports resident satisfaction, safety, and quality of life, with first shift and a pay range of $15.50 to $16 per hour.

As a Housekeeper, you will follow cleaning schedules, clean resident rooms and common areas, report maintenance needs, manage supplies, and participate in required training.

Qualifications

• Grade school education required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and follow assigned cleaning schedules.
• Perform cleaning assignments in resident rooms and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Prepare resident rooms for new move-ins following discharge.
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Monitor housekeeping inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Assist with plant and flower care as assigned.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and ensure proper labeling per OSHA standards.
• Maintain work carts and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth daily operations.
