Job summary

Aviva Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper for day shift in our senior living communities. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment that reflects warmth and quality for residents.

One year of housekeeping experience, clear English communication, and a friendly, courteous demeanor are required to support older adults. We offer medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of prior housekeeping experience
• Ability to work with older adults in a courteous and friendly manner
• Ability to communicate sufficiently in English
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
• Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies and equipment in compliance with facility policies and all applicable state and federal regulations

Responsibilities

• Deep clean resident apartments prior to move in, including living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens
• Complete weekly cleaning of occupied resident apartments on a scheduled rotation
• Keep all common areas neat, clean, and safe in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Remove trash from common areas throughout the community
• Vacuum carpets and clean doors and furnishings as needed
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment and handle cleaning solutions safely and properly
• Lift and move items up to 25 pounds as needed
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
