Better Living Inc. seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in our assisted living community.

You will maintain resident apartments, common areas, and facility spaces while upholding infection control standards and resident dignity. This role collaborates with care staff to ensure resident well-being and satisfaction, with responsibilities including linen changes, room preparation for new residents, and adherence to policies and regulatory

Formación

• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred, healthcare or senior living a plus.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Compassionate and respectful demeanor when working around older adults.
• Must pass required criminal background check to serve vulnerable adults.
• Must be screened TB and other state-required health care conditions.
• Be able to read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas.
• Perform daily and scheduled cleaning of common areas such as hallways, lounges, dining rooms, activity spaces, and restrooms.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors and furniture as needed.
• Change linens, make beds, and launder resident or facility items as assigned.
• Safely handle and store cleaning supplies, following proper infection control and safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or resident concerns to the appropriate staff promptly.
• Respect resident privacy and belongings while working in living spaces.
• Assist in preparing rooms for new residents to ensure a clean and welcoming move-in experience.
• Collaborate with care staff and other departments to support overall resident well-being and satisfaction.
• Adhere to community policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned
