Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, bathrooms, and offices, following established schedules and safety procedures, while engaging with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to privacy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, as well as cleaning equipment, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Launder and replace linens, towels, and other textiles as needed.
• Follow the community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines and safety precautions.
• Build positive relationships with residents by engaging in friendly, respectful interactions.
