Homewood Living Williamsport is hiring a part-time housekeeping staff to provide a clean, orderly, and safe living environment for residents. The role emphasizes confidentiality, adherence to policies, and efficient cleaning using standard equipment.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and the capacity to stand and move throughout an 8-hour shift. Benefits include health insurance, retirement contributions, and tuition/licensure support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to push/pull sweepers and housekeeping carts and lift/carry 40 lbs across an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist and turn frequently during an 8-hour shift.
• Operates housekeeping and laundry machines (floor machines, wet vacs, washer, dryer).

Responsibilities

• Keeps information about residents confidential per policy.
• Follows Corporate and Departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe operation and cleaning of housekeeping equipment.
• Performs housekeeping per Infection Control Program and Right To Know.
• Performs daily cleaning (dusting, mopping, disinfecting, sweeping).
• Keeps areas stocked with supplies.
• Assists in moving residents' furniture and belongings.
• Maintains neat, orderly furniture arrangement.
• Assists supervisor as needed.
