TerraBella Senior Living in Durham, NC is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, laundry duties, and maintaining equipment and supplies, with emphasis on safety and respectful interaction with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Shows interest in working with a senior population.
• Communicates effectively with residents.
• Produces courteous and friendly interactions with guests, residents and staff.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily/weekly/monthly cleaning in assigned areas (apartments, common areas, lounges, offices).
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, vacuums floors and carpets; rotates hallway runners.
• Cleans, sanitizes,Polishes fixtures; stocks dispensers.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; ensures safe storage of chemicals.
• Collects trash and manages community laundry and shared laundry facilities.
• Complies with safety, fire codes; keeps exits clear.
