Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Cary, NC, is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join the HeartFields community. You will perform cleaning duties across apartments, common areas, lounges and offices, following schedules and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

You should be dependable, able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents.
• Ability to read safety rules and instructions.
• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Polite and friendly interaction with guests, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties according to schedule in apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors, rotat ing runners and hallways.
• Clean, sanitize and polish lavatory fixtures; stock dispensers.
• Scrub bath/shower tiles and window frames.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment and materials.
• Collect trash and manage community laundry.
• Ensure compliant storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Keep cords and equipment out of walkways and exits clear.
• Report repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.
