TerraBella Senior Living in Salem, VA, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and comfortable living spaces for residents across apartments, common areas, and facilities. This role involves dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and laundry tasks while following safety protocols and respecting resident privacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
• Interacts with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Sweeps, dusts, dust mops, and wet mops floors; vacuums carpets and runners.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes fixtures; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Scrubs tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills; maintains equipment.
• Collects trash, handles community laundry, and maintains the laundry area.
• Ensures chemicals are stored securely and exits are unobstructed.
• Reports repairs and supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.
