Ivy Park at Santa Monica, part of Ivy Living, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments, public areas, and laundry services within a senior living community. The role emphasizes safety, courtesy, and aligning with our mission and values.

The position requires at least 18, HS diploma, and a willingness to serve the elderly, with background checks and health screenings as part of our compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
