Job summary

Manor Lake El is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for residents. You will perform daily cleaning duties across common areas and resident rooms, adhering to established schedules and using proper cleaning practices.

Responsibilities include cleaning, linen management, and coordinating with the Maintenance Director to ensure supplies meet resident needs, while upholding Residents’ Rights and safety guidelines in a senior living

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Must have upper body strength adequate to bend, lift, move items heavier than 25 lbs.
• Must be able to squat, reach and stretch and tolerate extended walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Keep the community clean, orderly and attractive.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule set by the Housekeeping Director.
• Clean all common areas in the community.
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms including dusting, vacuuming and making beds.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, and report needs to the Maintenance Director.
