Job summary

Shannondell, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas including common spaces, resident units, restrooms, dining rooms, offices and furniture.

The role operates under the supervision of the Housekeeping Captain, Lead or Manager to ensure the highest quality care. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, reporting issues, timely task completion, and maintaining organized storage and equipment while following department rules and infection

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Less than high school education; or six to12 months related experience or training.
• English language: ability to read simple sentences in English.
• Math and measurements: basic arithmetic with money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Reasoning: follow simple one- or two-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties of ceilings, vents, fixtures, windows, floors, rest rooms, dining rooms and offices.
• Inform Housekeeping Captain/Lead/Manager of problems or concerns.
• Arrive on time to scheduled tasks and complete them promptly.
• Keep housekeeping storage facilities and carts clean and organized.
• Attend scheduled in-services and follow department procedures.
