Meadows/Rehab at Shannondell in Pennsylvania seeks a Housekeeper to maintain daily cleanliness of common areas, resident rooms, dining spaces and offices in line with standards. Under supervision, the role supports high quality resident care in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, safety procedures, and participation in in-services to uphold a sanitary environment and comfort for residents.

Competenze

• Education: Less than high school; or 6–12 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read a limited number of words and to print, speak and comprehend simple sentences in English.
• Must possess general knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and infection control procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Willingness to work in a geriatric care setting and maintain a positive attitude toward resident care.

• Clean ceilings, vents, fixtures, windows, floors, bathrooms, dining rooms, offices and common areas.
• Inform supervisors of problems or concerns related to department operations.
• Arrive on time and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
• Keep cleaning storage and carts organized and clean.
• Attend in-services and follow department procedures.
