Job summary

Savant Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments for residents in our Assisted Living Facility. The role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and involves cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and other spaces while ensuring infection control and confidentiality.

In this position you will collaborate with staff to prioritize tasks, move furniture as needed, and provide excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in a professional setting.
• Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal communication with residents and staff.
• Dependability and punctuality in adhering to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
• Maintain cleanliness in lounges, dining areas, hallways, and restrooms.
• Perform trash removal, window cleaning, and surface polishing.
• Follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to the supervisor.
• Assist with replenishing housekeeping supplies and cleaning products.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with staff and prioritize tasks.
• Uphold resident privacy and respond politely to inquiries or concerns.
