Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a housekeeper to maintain safe, clean living spaces for residents and staff. You will launder towels and linens and keep resident apartments in order, with a focus on hygiene and comfort.

The role starts at $15.50 per hour and increases with experience. Schedule is Monday to Friday with a weekend rotation, and Benchmark highlights comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans all assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor including bathrooms, sinks, and floors.
• Maintains clean common areas such as elevators, halls, lobbies and activity areas.
• Cleans windows inside as needed and empties wastebaskets.
• Keeps the laundry room orderly and stores chemicals per supervisor instruction.
