Job summary

Atria Senior Living’s Rocklin community is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. You’ll clean apartments, common areas, and amenities, and perform laundry tasks while adhering to sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates will follow training, operate cleaning equipment, and communicate effectively in English with residents and teammates. This role offers stable shifts and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.
• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including: distributing laundered articles and linens; changing beds; cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights and keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies; stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
• Report resident issues promptly and request maintenance work orders when needed.
