Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Hospitality Manager to oversee reception, dining services, and housekeeping within a resident-focused community. You will work with the Executive Director to manage daily operations, recruit and train staff, and maintain service quality and safety standards.

You will lead front-desk, dining, concierge teams, ensure customer service excellence, and engage with residents, families, and staff while upholding health regulations and Cogir standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience in retirement housing or hospitality settings, leadership preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site executive, lead operations and be main contact for staff and residents.
• Provide leadership for staff and residents, solve problems proactively.
• Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and licenses in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise concierge, housekeeping, and dining staff, ensuring training and morale.
• Oversee dining services to ensure high level of resident satisfaction.
• Assist with housekeeping and waitstaff duties as needed.
• Foster stability and dignity for residents in daily operations.
• Support on-site sales activities and tours for prospective residents.
• Manage front desk operations and answer phones.
• Be flexible to step into various roles within the community.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir standards.
