Job summary

Better Living is seeking a marketing leader for our senior living community in Iowa. You will drive outreach, occupancy growth, and brand development while building relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and the local community.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure smooth move-ins and resident satisfaction, manage advertising and digital marketing, and lead tours, events, and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in marketing or related field preferred.
• Senior living experience required.
• 2–3 years of sales/marketing in long-term care, assisted living, senior housing, or healthcare.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of senior care industry regulations and decision processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, tours, follow-up, relationship building, and closing.
• Maintain accurate lead tracking, CRM data, and sales reports; analyze metrics to optimize performance.
• Coordinate and host community tours, open houses, and marketing events.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral partners and hospitals, physicians, senior centers, and discharge planners.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure seamless move-in experiences and resident satisfaction.
• Represent the community at local events and industry gatherings.
• Manage advertising, digital marketing, and promotional materials in alignment with brand standards.
