Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Food Service Director or similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and families.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support our 24/7 senior living community.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the cafe and restaurant, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Manages a team of culinary professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develops and maintains relationships with food suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients and competitive pricing
• Creates menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our residents, while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Ensures compliance with all relevant food safety and health regulations
• Collaborates with other senior living team members to develop and implement resident programs and events
