Job summary

Chalet Living Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the food services department in our premier senior living community. You will oversee daily operations, guide cooks, servers and aides, and ensure high‑quality meals and exceptional service to residents.

Responsibilities include menu development, inventory control, staff training, regulatory compliance, and coordination with the culinary team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (required).
• Certified Dietary Manager (required).
• Dietary Operations experience (required).
• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience managing food service operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Experience with basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve meals including special diets and preferences.
• Supervise and direct a team of dietary staff; provide guidance and training as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, supplies, and dietary services.
• Develop and implement menus, including special occasion and holiday meals.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with culinary team to provide exceptional food and service.
