Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a full-time Floor Tech/Custodian to maintain cleanliness across our senior living community. Responsibilities include cleaning floors and carpets, moving light furniture for events, and waste removal while keeping hallways and common areas pristine.

The ideal candidate has a valid MA driver’s license, understands safety procedures for cleaning equipment, and may require a CDL B in certain roles.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid MA driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, and trash removal equipment.
• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred.
• CDL class B with air brake endorsement may be required and a current DOT medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces: scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing and waxing.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces: extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, vacuuming.
• Clean vertical surfaces such as doors, walls or windows.
• Remove trash including refuse and recycling per procedures.
• Move and arrange furniture in common spaces, offices and residential apartments.
• Deliver residents' items to storage, vehicles or other areas.
• Operate housekeeping equipment/vehicles safely.
