Winchester Gardens in Maplewood, NJ is seeking an experienced Fitness Trainer/Instructor to join our team as a full-time member of Springpoint Senior Living. You will supervise the fitness center, deliver aquatic/fitness programs, and deliver high level customer service to residents and staff.

Role requires CPR/AED and First Aid, high school diploma or equivalent, and a college degree or national certification in health/fitness. Prior work with older adults preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience in an active older adult retirement community or related fitness program preferred.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and assist residents and staff at the fitness center.
• Develop, organize, implement and direct ongoing fitness programming.
• Train residents and staff on equipment use and safety, individually or in classes.
• Inspect facilities and equipment daily for safety and compliance.
• Maintain attendance records for fitness programs and incidents.
