Job summary

Sunshine Terrace Foundation is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to upkeep a safe, clean environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform routine maintenance on building systems and respond to urgent requests as needed.

The role requires working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, ability to prioritize tasks, and strong communication with residents and vendors. Healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred; healthcare or senior living experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and management regarding maintenance requests and project updates.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to support safe and efficient operation of facility systems.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional after-hours situations.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and facility policies.
