Chatsworth Commons Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director to supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff and oversee daily operations in our Chatsworth, CA facility. The role ensures repairs, preventive maintenance, and cleaning schedules are executed efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or senior living environment, with strong knowledge of building maintenance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant supervisory experience in maintenance or housekeeping.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and housekeeping practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to facility maintenance and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee daily operations including repairs, preventive maintenance, and cleaning schedules.
• Conduct inspections to assess facility conditions and address maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Train and mentor staff on proper maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
