Job summary

The Blake at Lafayette, part of QSL Management, seeks an Executive Director to oversee resident care, sales, dining, activities, housekeeping and maintenance. You will hire, train, and evaluate staff, ensuring staffing meets state rules and aligns with budgets.

Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in healthcare or senior living leadership, a Bachelor's degree, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of leadership experience in healthcare or senior living with a proven track record.
• Meets state education/experience requirements for Assisted Living Communities.
• Bachelor's Degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or related area.
• Background in financial management including budget preparation and cash flow analysis.
• Proficient with cloud-based operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; available for weekends/evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate resident care, sales, dining, activities, housekeeping and maintenance.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate new team members.
• Ensure staffing meets state regulations while aligning with budgets.
• Lead in line with Mission, Vision, Values, Standards, and laws/regulations.
• Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving in daily operations.
