Job summary

Ciel Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all culinary operations for residents and staff. You will manage production, inventory, sanitation, and lead a diverse culinary team in a mission-driven community.

You will partner with the Food & Beverage Director to elevate dining experiences, ensure menu accuracy, and drive resident satisfaction through quality and engagement.

Qualifications

• Must pass State and Company background checks.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in culinary management.
• Minimum of 5 years in a culinary leadership role, preferably in senior living or hospitality.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing food service operations.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in Compass and OnShift; computer literacy required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary operations and ensure high-quality dining for residents and staff.
• Manage food production, inventory, sanitation, and team leadership.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Conduct line checks prior to meal service and ensure menu standards.
• Implement sanitation audits and staff training to improve compliance.
• Plan monthly events to engage residents and showcase menu items.
• Schedule team members in OnShift and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food service regulations.
