Job summary

Apartment Life is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator (Offsite, Part-Time) to execute the service plan across a Senior Adult community in Old Hickory, TN. The role involves planning resident events, resources, and programming under supervision, with a focus on social engagement and wellness.

The coordinator will host 2-3 events per month, update resident resource lists monthly, and collaborate with local vendors and onsite staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services.
• Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports.
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to transportation for duties.
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly evenings and weekends.
• Be able to commit to the minimum term of service.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the service plan in partnership with the Apartment Life supervisor.
• Plan and host 2-3 events each month to promote social engagement and enrichment.
• Update monthly resources for residents (rent assistance, food assistance, etc.).
• Meet with residents with specific needs and connect them to resources.
• Partner with local businesses to provide holistic activities.
• Communicate effectively with onsite staff and the AL supervisor.
• Report activity and impact each month.
