Job summary

You will lead staff across multiple shifts, train and schedule teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with Nursing and Facilities to deliver outstanding service while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or management experience in environmental services or healthcare.
• Experience overseeing housekeeping, laundry, or floor care.
• Knowledge of infection control, PPE, and workplace safety.
• Experience hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff.
• Strong budgeting and inventory management skills.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Environmental Services operations, including housekeeping, laundry, and floor care.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate department staff across shifts.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Develop and manage routine, periodic, and deep-cleaning schedules.
• Establish and enforce departmental procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff on infection control, PPE, workplace safety, and emergency procedures.
• Manage budgets, expenses, inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Conduct quality inspections and address service concerns.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Facilities, and other departments to support resident needs.
• Respond professionally to resident and family concerns while upholding service.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
