Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry and floor care staff in a long-term care setting. You will supervise operations, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate with building administrators to maintain service quality.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on training, and a focus on resident and client satisfaction, with daily interactions across shifts and teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with building occupants, administration and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies and federal/state requirements.
• Lead teams in light and heavy housekeeping and laundry duties across shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.
