Maplewood Senior Living in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking an Environmental Services Director to oversee the community's physical plant, maintenance and housekeeping, ensuring safety, cleanliness and resident comfort.

As a Department Head, you will recruit, hire, schedule, coach and monitor performance, coordinating with staff to maintain regulatory compliance and high standards of operation.

Competenze

• Must possess a High School Diploma or greater.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a maintenance plant related position, in building industry and/or housekeeping handling upkeep, repair and maintenance of electrical, plumbing and structural matters, including HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of maintenance & housekeeping practices and applicable laws/regulations governing maintenance in a senior living community.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to report issues to the Executive Director.

• Recruits, hires, and supervises staff in maintenance and housekeeping.
• Adheres to federal and state laws and regulations regarding assisted living/memory care and fire safety code; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Maintains and repairs equipment and documents hazardous conditions.
