Job summary

Country Manor is seeking an Environmental Services Attendant to support a clean, safe, and inviting environment for tenants, employees, and volunteers in Minnesota. This part-time role includes light maintenance tasks and scheduling responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The position offers the potential to transition to full-time, with emphasis on teamwork, infection control practices, safe chemical handling, and excellent communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience with housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Understanding of infection control practices and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with management, team members, residents, and families.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Boiler license preferred – candidates with a current Minnesota boiler license may have opportunities to take on additional boiler/maintenance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, emptying garbage, organizing furniture, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment while supporting Pinecrest’s Hometown Culture.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, utility rooms, and storage spaces.
• Report needed repairs, improvements, or safety concerns to the Environmental Services Supervisor.
• Build positive relationships with management, team members, residents, and families by demonstrating patience, tact, and consideration.
• Direct resident medical or personal care questions to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Complete scheduled duties, special projects, and light maintenance tasks as assigned while tracking time spent on maintenance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
