Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and implement a comprehensive program that supports residents’ social, emotional, physical, and recreational well-being in a warm, residential setting.

You will develop monthly activity calendars, coordinate outings, coordinate with dining and nursing teams, document participation, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining a vibrant, engaging community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant degree preferred.
• Experience in senior living, recreation therapy, event planning, or related field strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage individuals with varying physical and cognitive abilities.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Develop monthly activity calendars reflecting resident interests and seasonal events.
• Coordinate outings, entertainment, education opportunities, and volunteer involvement.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt programs to individual abilities.
• Communicate events to residents, families, and staff; maintain partnerships.
• Maintain records of attendance and feedback; monitor budgets.
