Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support planning and execution of recreation programs that meet residents' social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs. The role proactively engages residents and encourages participation in community events.

Responsibilities include coordinating monthly events, organizing outings, decorating for occasions, recruiting volunteers, and sharing schedules with residents while acknowledging milestones and achievements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or better.
• Activity Certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to engage and motivate seniors in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing life enrichment programs to meet residents' social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
• Encourage resident participation in all activities.
• Coordinate monthly special events at the community.
• Assist with organizing outings within the local city or town.
• Decorate the facility for special occasions and events.
• Find volunteers and maintain the resident volunteer program.
• Distribute monthly life enrichment schedules and post them for residents.
• Acknowledge residents’ birthdays, anniversaries, and achievements.
