Job summary

The Ivy Colorado Springs is looking for a Driver to safely operate community vehicles and supervise residents during outings. The role may include setting up activities and assisting with events in the community in line with Oakmont’s mission and values.

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, be 21+, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Driving experience preferred; background checks and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• Oakmont may require vaccination and daily health screenings per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings and appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off vehicles.
• Follow state and federal driving laws.
• Perform vehicle inspections and drive safely and punctually.
• Act as activity staff during outings and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
