Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks a compassionate Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensure safety during trips, and perform routine vehicle inspections to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Role requires a HS Diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR certification as required. Excellent communication and time management are essential to support resident mobility and safety throughout each day.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
