Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents to appointments and outings, helping residents in and out of vehicles and ensuring comfort and safety on every trip.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete driving logs, and report changes in resident condition. A HS diploma or GED, valid license, CPR if required, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required; age 21
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving
