Job summary

Integral Senior Living seeks a Driver to provide timely, courteous transportation for residents to activities and events, assisting disabled passengers and ensuring safe transport. The role includes securing wheelchairs, communicating with the base, and keeping vehicles well-maintained.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are at least 21, and possess safety awareness with strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
